"Like many other horse people, we’ve been using poultice after hard workouts and competition. However, after trying Back on Track leg wraps and ’sore no more’ liniment, our years of using poultice are over.
The reason we switched is we’ve seen a dramatic improvement with these great products. The horses’ legs are tighter and cooler.
Also, when using Back on Track and ’sore no more’ liniment, horses with white legs or sensitive skin don’t develop scurf or inflammation as they sometimes did with poultice. Plus, my grooms love it. It’s cleaner, easier and saves valuable time.
With the blankets, I notice quite a difference in how the horses move after they wear them. The horses feel looser and more relaxed in their bodies, which result in less warm-up time for me. For horses that tend to get sore backs and shoulders, the blanket helps a lot. In some cases we also use ’sore no more’ I can feel the improvement under the saddle and my groom’s note that the horses are less sensitive during the grooming process. I wholeheartedly recommend these products to everyone who has horses."
"This therapeutic saddle pad works great! From the very start of my ride, I feel that my horses’ back is very relaxed and more supple with the Back on Track saddle pad. I have also noticed that we are able to go longer in between veterinarian treatments on horses with some known back problems. The horses comfort and soundness is number one for me, that is why Back on Track is the way for my horses and myself. It works!"
- Anne Kursinski, Olympic rider: silver team medal in Seoul and Atlanta.

"We started using Back on Track products on our Grand Prix horses with such great results that I tried the Back on Track back brace on myself and it worked great. Now I use Back on Track all the time with our horses and for myself. I recommend Back on Track products to everyone with horses and for themselves."

" . . . Our magnetic blanket broke . . . A friend lent us his ceramic Back on Track back pads and we used them in place of a magnetic blanket all summer. We felt that they worked remarkably well and were very light and easy to use while travelling. The horses do not sweat in the pads, but instead have an area of real warmth on the particular muscle group that you target . . .
We have a small Argentinean horse with a lot of soreness and muscle atrophy in his back. He lives in the back pad . . .
We also have a warm-blood mare with a very ’cold back’ who is extremely ’girthy’. She also lives in a ceramic sheet and is much easier to mount because of it."
- Chris Kappler, Olympic rider: gold team medal and silver individual in Athens.

"Everything has been excellent, by using the Back on Track leg wraps. We do a better job of the horse’s legs and we’ve stopped using poultice so it cuts down on the problem of drying out the legs and skin irritation.
When using the Back on Track blankets, we’ve noticed a great difference in the horses’ backs. We can go longer between the chiropractic treatments. This is a wonderful product that keeps our horses in great shape."
- McLain Ward, Olympic rider: gold team medal in Athens.

"I like Back on Track products because anything that’s good for my horses is good for me. Back on Track leg wraps and back pads have proven themselves to me. We have been using them for a couple of years and I can say without reservation that my staff and I have seen a dramatic difference in our horses’ legs. We have used them on horses with chronic problems as well as on horses returning to work and I must say that we have had positive results on 100% of the horses."

"I must say I believe your products have helped my horses tremendously. We noticed a huge difference in the tightness of their legs, and suppleness in their backs at Aachen Horse Show where the stress of competition is huge.
We have used the No Bow wraps and sheets on them for two months now, and can’t believe the difference!"
- Steffen Peters, Olympic rider: bronze team medal in Atlanta.

"I put Back on Track blankets on my horses as much as possible. It really keeps their bodies supple and loose. I can feel the difference right from the beginning of the warm-up. When their bodies feel good, they are happy and ready to do the work.
Also, the No Bow are fantastic. The horses’ legs look and feel tight and clean after using them. Everybody should use Back on Track products!"
"I love Back on Tracks new therapeutic saddle pad. I use them on a daily basis to aid in keeping my horses healthy and comfortable in their backs. The horses are more supple with the Back on Track pads and they are of great quality and fit perfectly. I use all of Back on Tracks products. They have helped my horses and myself to stay sounder."

"I have been using Back on Track products for several months. I can really see a difference in my horses’ legs, when wrapped with the bandages. I can tell that the legs are tighter than with normal wraps. I have used the blankets as well, not only is the quality nice, but the horses seem to enjoy wearing them as well.
I have even tried a few human products (knee, brace, glove). I was amazed how it helped in the inflammation, which helped with the pain. I recommend Back on Track products to anyone!"

For humans and horses the “Back On Track” products have proven themselves to me. When I sleep on my “Back On Track” mini-blanket I feel improved range of motion and flexibility with less tightness and pain in my neck and back. For the horses, the “Back On Track” blankets keep their backs supple and loose. My feeling is that they feel as if they are warmed up already at the start of the ride. The horses seem to like wearing the blankets because they are so well designed and made. In many cases I have stopped using my magnetic blanket because the results from the “Back On Track” blankets are better. As an added bonus,” Back On Track” blankets take much less time and effort on my grooms part during our ever busy daily schedule.
I recommend “Back On Track” products to everyone with horses and for themselves.

"I use a Back on Track horse rug on several horses, and find it extremely beneficial. It is great for the ones with cold backs, as well as for general use after the strenuous exertion of cross country.
I am also using Back on Track leg wraps on a horse with tendon trouble. After initially “filling up” the legs, they are now looking very good. These wraps obviously activate the blood flow and enhance healing, as my vet was very pleased with recent scans of the injuries, especially in regard to the rate of recovery and the less than expected scar tissue. I am certainly looking forward to the next scan of this horse’s legs."

I am very impressed with the effectiveness of the Back on Track products, both on my horses and myself. My horses seem more relaxed and happy within themselves since using the rugs and leg wraps. I find them especially useful for horses that travel a lot, as they provide the same degree of comfort they are accustomed to when wearing them at home in addition to their usual rugs. On a personal level, I find that the T-shirt helps a lot in relaxing my muscles. Wearing it overnight improves my sleep, and it definitely helps free me up in the mornings. Anyone who is serious about the well- being of their horses, and themselves, should certainly use Back on Track in addition to their existing garments and pain relieving practices.

"Back on Track has created exceptional and effective products for both the horse and rider. Once you feel better wearing the human products, you know that your horse feels better wearing the ceramic blanket.
This technology improves the comfort level of the horse and a supple horse is a happy horse. I highly recommend this product to all horsemen who want to achieve optimum performance from their horses."

"Back on Track products allow for my horses and I to recuperate from all sorts of ailments. Rather than using harsh and abrasive topical solutions to draw out aches and pains (such as liniments or alcohol) we use the power of Back on Track ceramic products for horse and rider.
By increasing blood flow and keeping tendons and ligaments tight while allowing for muscles to be warm and loose, the Back on Track products give my horses and I that competitive edge that other products can not provide.
I recommend the Back on Track line of products to all of my clients and students to have as a main part of their horse and rider care regimen."
- Stephen Bradley, Olympic rider.

"I have been using Back on Track ceramic blanket on Silver Springs, not for any particular problems but just to give her all the help I could. Within a week’s time she felt smoother as if she had already been warmed up.
I was so impressed with the blanket that I bought a Back on Track mattress for myself, and I can now see how the horses benefit from this product, since I no longer have any back pain.
I also use Back on Track ceramic leg wraps on my horses, which keep their legs tight and cool. I can honestly say that Back on Track products are working for both my horses and me."

"We’ve been using the covers during the nights on horses with reactions in the fetlocks. I get a feeling that the horses are sounder after they’ve been using the covers. For instance, joint swelling can be reduced or prevented.
Ever since we started with these pads on Victory Tilly we haven’t used any liniments at all on his fetlocks. It is possible that the leg wraps contributed to Victory Tilly’s victory in the Nat Ray Trot 2002 in a world record time.
Some of my horses have had these pads for more than three years, almost every night, and the result tells us that this is something we truly want to concentrate on."

"I have been using Back on Track’s horse blankets and clothes with great results. The horses start off feeling more loose and relaxed, like they have already been warmed up. I’ve seen a noticeable difference on horses with sore backs. They are, without a doubt, the best therapeutic blankets on the market.
I use it as a regular stable blanket, leaving it on over night, and the cost is not much more than a good winter blanket.
I would like to add that the clothes (shirt, gloves, long johns and socks) have been a lifesaver during this year’s cold winter. They keep you really warm. I can comfortably say that the T-shirt has really helped my sore back."

"I have used "Back On Track" products (mainly the quilts, stable sheets and coolers) for 4 years. Glidemaster (triple crown winner) and Armbro Deuce used them exclusively. There is definitely some benefit to the horses. They seem more comfortable and sounder. Messy liniments are not necessary as I usually have the grooms rub the legs with alcohol only.
I also really like the way the quilts go on and they set up better on the horse's legs than regular tack shop bought quilts. I would happily recommend this product to any other trainer or conditioner."

"I have prescribed the use of the ceramic bandage on chronic fill in the lower leg of horses. Without the use of medication, these bandages do reduce swelling and legs appear much better."
-Dr. John R. Steele, D.V.M, Equine Veterinarian, Vernon NY.
"The horse "Belle" suffers from Lymes disease as well as chronically swollen hind legs. The filling in the hind legs has become more firm over the years. We decided to substitute the "No Bow" ceramic bandages for the conventional wraps which had been used for the last three years. The owner bandaged the legs as he had for the previous three years. The firm swelling became soft and came down dramatically after 4 days of using the ceramic leg wrap."
- Fred B McDashin, V.M.D, MSc.
"I am very impressed with Back on Track leg wraps. The reduction in inflammation is excellent. I especially like the effect on ankles and tendonitis. I also feel joint injections last longer when using Back on Track leg wraps. I highly recommend this product."
- Richard C Mather, D.V.M, Wooland Run Equine Veterinary Facility.
"I have seen very good results from Back on Track products in reducing post operative inflammation and synovitis, especially when used on young horses following routine joint surgery, such as ankle chip removals.
I have also been encouraged by results seen when using the Back on Track leg wraps on yearlings and two-year-olds experiencing soreness due to bone immaturity or weakness, particularly in the distal cannon bone area.
By using these leg wraps, along with other conventional treatments, I am convinced that these horses have been able to proceed with their training, whereas in the past, they most likely would have been waited on to mature."
- Lynda Rhodes-Stewart, D.V.M, Equine Veterinarian.
"I have been using the Back on Track ceramic bandages with positive results. They have worked especially well on a thoroughbred with a healed sesamoid fracture. After trying several traditional therapies when the horse returned to training, we got the best results with the ceramic bandages. I would recommend trying them on both acute and chronic injuries."

"Here at our training camp at Tobo Ranch we have used Back on Track for a few years. The result has been predominantly very positive. Before and during the season of competition when the horses are exposed to somewhat tougher training we have noticed that the horses manage well without the usual swelling of the legs. Back on Track has kept the legs dry and tight.
We recommend and use ourselves, Back on Track not exclusively for competition horses but also in prophylactic purpose on any horses going through light or more advanced training program."

"I´m using Back on Track products for one year now and I can feel a big difference on my horses.
The blanket is really good for the back muscles. The horses feel looser and more relaxed. Especially when I am on a horse show where the stress of competition is high I use the blanket alot and I can feel that the back muscles stay more relaxed. I also really like the Back on Track leg wraps which help me to keep the legs of my horses healthy and tight.
I am really happy with the results of using the Back on Track products and I told all my customers and friends to use them on there horses too.
I also use the Back on Track human products for myself. And I feel much better since. "

"Back on Track is a great product. We have used many different Back on Track items for horses and humans and we love them all.
When you school a horse for reining, the stopping puts a lot of stress on the legs. We wrap the legs over night after schooling and showing and this has the horses ready to go in the morning. The first pair of wraps we bought is over two years ago and we still use them every day.
This product is easy and safe to use and I highly recommend it for everyone."

Map reader Tina Thörner and Colin McRae were leading the Dakar rally of 2005 when they crashed their car. Experiencing severe back pain, Tina had to be air-lifted from the scene by helicopter. The accident brought back memories of an earlier trauma, when Tina’s rally car went over a cliff and fell forty meters to the surface of a mountain lake.
In describing the damage sustained in such accidents, Tina says: "My muscles were pulled apart and have grown back into position, but will never be the same again.
I do, however, experience a pleasant feeling after using the Back on Track products. I use the T-shirt and the neck brace periodically throughout the entire day. Mostly I use them when returning from the races, to help diminish my pain."
As a precaution, I also use the Back on Track back brace whilst racing, especially during the long distance races, and regardless of the 60 degree temperatures inside the car. In the evenings, after we have been driving, I always have some degree of pain somewhere in my body. I then use the Back on Track bedding products, confident that I will have far less pain in the morning".
- Tina Thörner, professional car race map reader. Second place in the Dakar rally of 2006.

"I cannot do without the Back on Track range of products in my role as a massage therapist. Due to the particular nature of some patients’ problems, I occasionally introduce these products to get a better end result.
If the patients are very stiff, I suggest they wear a Back on Track T-shirt before coming in for treatment. This helps them to relax and to increase their blood circulation. I can then detect where I should concentrate my efforts to relieve their muscle problems.
I often lend a Back on Track back brace to a patient as a follow-up treatment to massage, especially those with back problems who are at risk of developing lumbago once their muscles have relaxed. I have noticed that the patients using Back on Track have a better muscle response, and are far better conditioned to prevent injuries.
About 8 out of 10 of the patients to whom I lend a Back on Track product, choose to keep it. I am extremely happy with these products. They help me to help my patients."

Pelle Westman is one of Sweden’s most skilled sail producers. He sews the sails himself which places a lot of strain on his shoulders and elbow. During the last eight years he has had pain in his joints and muscles, and he has not been able to sleep on his left side. Initially, Pelle only wore his Back on Track long sleeved T-shirt periodically, and did not experience any substantial improvement. He then decided to wear it day and night over five days whilst staying at his summer house. Throughout this period, his personal perception of pain changed dramatically.
Pelle tells us: "Much of my pain is now gone. Looking back at the past summer, I now realise that wearing the long sleeved T-shirt on most days, enabled me to keep active, including refurbishing the windows on my factory. So the reason I have less pain is certainly not because of rest. I am also now sleeping much better, regardless of which side I am laying on. All credit for my improvement must go to Back on Track. In general, I do not believe in things like this, but it comes to a point where you must admit that something has helped you recover from the pain that was impairing your daily life and work."

"I would not have got my injured elbow in order without Back on Track’s elbow brace. I really felt that the cover increased the blood circulation.
These products help prevent injuries and hasten recovery after training. I wear the elbow brace and T-shirt between all my regular training sessions. They actually work well in replacing massage therapy, which often becomes too time consuming when training frequently. I find them smooth and pliable compared to neoprene braces I have tried, all of which seemed to restrict my blood flow, as well as the ability to bend my arm.
These Back on Track garments and braces do not impair movement. They breathe well, and you do not sweat excessively under them. It is a great product for avoiding interruptions to your training and help you advance in your sport."

Artist and Olympian Get Back on Track with Back on Track.
“Back on Track products took my pain away” – Ann Vashay-Pedrick
Ann Vashay-Pedrick is feeling no pain now that her life is back on track, thanks to Back on Track. Pedrick has enjoyed owning horses most of her life. Her love of these beautiful animals carries over into her passion for art and has become her occupation as an equine portrait artist. However, her career in art and her hobby with horses was put on hold after she sustained a painful injury in November of last year. While she was caring for animals on her farm, one of the sheep ran into her back. Pedrick lost her balance and fell into a 4x4 fence. Pedrick made an appointment with her doctor and it became apparent that an MRI would need to be taken to find the extent of the damage. After the doctor looked at the test results, he informed Pedrick that her both of her shoulders had suffered great injury. She had a complete tear in one rotator cuff and three tears in the other shoulder. Worse yet, her doctor was not comfortable operating on her shoulders because it would most likely only lead to more arthritis, another problem Pedrick has battled for a long time. She soon realized the terrible pain she was enduring would become a daily fixture in her life.
All of Pedrick’s favorite activities became too painful for her. She remembers not being able to produce paintings of the horses she so dearly loved. Riding was also not possible because she couldn’t lift her arms enough to be able to get on a horse. Even grooming her horses as a way of enjoying them wasn’t an option because of the pain. Pedrick couldn’t sleep at night. The pain on her shoulders prevented her from sleeping on her side, and a previous back injury wouldn’t let her rest on her back.
At first, Pedrick held some hope. She says, “I remember thinking I had to get this fixed. I wanted to start riding my horse again.” She was seeing an acupuncturist and taking painkillers and muscle relaxers. When no relief was found, she became depressed. She thought, “The life I know is over.” She began to consider selling her horses, a Fourth Level dressage mare and her yearling filly.
Then, Pedrick fortune changed. When shopping at a tack store with a friend, she picked up information about Back on Track. That night, she asked her husband to place an order for a neck wrap, a t-shirt, and a knee brace. When reflecting on her decision to place the order, she says, “I don’t really know why I decided to buy the Back on Track products. I had a good feeling about it. It was just one of those times you know you should do something.”
Within four days of using the Back on Track products, Pedrick completely stopped taking all of her pain medication. Within a week, she was able to sleep through the night, without waking up in pain. Pedrick remembers waking up one morning thinking, “I am going to be able to live my life today.”
She continues to wear the Back on Track products at night, and has never felt the same pain again. After the success of the products in her initial order, she ordered the Back on Track gloves to help with her arthritis and is now able to close her hands around the reins again. Her husband began using the knee brace when he came home from Ju-Jitsu teaching classes and can’t believe the difference.
Pedrick remembers the intense pain she endured for months. She says, “Medical professionals wrote me off. I didn’t know how I was going to live without painting and without riding. Now, I am not in pain. It would be worth it if the products cost ten times more!”
Pedrick is not the only person who believes in the Back on Track products. World-class dressage trainer and Olympic Bronze Medalist, Michelle Gibson uses the products for herself as well as her horses. Gibson began using the products a few years ago and claims, “I love the Back on Track products!” The first Back on Track products she tried on her horses were the stable blankets.
Gibson was amazed that the horses didn’t sweat under them. She says, “The weather can be difficult in Florida. At night it might be cool and then get warmer. The temperature tends to change a lot, but the horses stay cool and comfortable with these blankets.” Gibson continues to use the Back on Track horse blankets and now also the leg wraps and saddle pads daily.
A Back on Track product helps Gibson sleep well at night too. She had back surgery on a ruptured disk that left her in extreme pain. After putting a Back on Track mattress pad on her bed, she noticed a difference in only three or four days. Gibson in her jovial manner says, “Now I am able to stand up in the morning.” She is mindful to take care of her body, and knows the Back on Track products help her do so. With the Back on Track mattress pad, Gibson notes, “It makes a big difference in flexibility and comfort for me.”
Perhaps one of the best characteristics of Back on Track is the ease of use. Horses can wear all of their products safely without constant monitoring. Consumers find the products are easy to put on horses and are just as simple to care for. Gibson says, “The Back on Track products are of great quality. I haven’t had to replace any of the products.”
The unique fabric used by Back on Track is what sets them apart from other therapeutic products. The state-of-the-art fabric is made from polyester with ceramic powder melted into the threads. This fine ceramic powder reflects FAR infrared rays. This type of infrared rays reflects a soothing thermal heat.
The increased circulation created by the infrared heat has been shown alleviate pain in inflamed areas, warm up muscles, accelerate recovery after a workout or help heal injuries. The technology has been so effective, veterinarians often recommend Back on Track and many sell the products in their clinic.

After having a severe compound fracture of the ankle 2 years ago( plates, screws, medications & multiple operations) I was resolved to the fact I would have to deal with the pain the rest of my life. I was waking up every night from the ankle pain. After having had good results with the Back On Track horse products I decided to try your human products. I know this is hard to believe but after wearing one of the ceramic socks on my bad foot for just one night I had immediate relief !!!! I woke up and for the first time in 2 years did not limp from my bedroom. It was like my ankle was massaged all night while I slept. There was this warm sensation throughout the night but was much better than the pain. Thank you so much for these wonderful products.

Hi Back on Track, You have the best products. I have tried all of them and so have my friends. We all agree that they work wonders on our horses, on some better and then others but they work. None of us use liniment any more and the horses love it too, not to have something that burns on theirs legs and we have no horses stock up anymore. The blanket is not only the best but it's easy to use like all your products and they are well worth the money. I have three saddle pads and I can't wait to get one of your new Contender II Saddle Pads. We Love Back on Track! Thanks, Kim

As odd as this might sound, I slept on the dressage pad last night for a few hours to try it out and woke up a renewed woman! Quite seriously, I am thinking more seriously of buying more of your products for myself and as presents for others. I have a bad neck and shoulder and usually can't sleep on that side comfortably, but I was not uncomfortable doing so after only two or so hours sleeping on top of the dressage pad! My horses might just have to wrestle it away from me! I can't tell you how thrilled I am with it already! Thank you so much! Regards, Alice

“Agility is a physically demanding canine sport and knowledge is growing each day as to how we should take care of our dogs in the best possible way. I am responsible for my dogs’ wellbeing so that they have the best chance of performing as well as possible in competition. If I am thorough in the way I look after my dogs’ physique then we can avoid injuries for a large part. A huge part of avoiding injury is making sure that my dogs are well warmed up prior to workouts and contests – and this is where Back on Track’s products have been outstanding! Agility is all about high velocity and quick, twisty movements which place great strain on both joints and muscles. A warmed up, flexible muscle has significantly better prerequisites under such conditions than a cold and stiff muscle.
I have used other rugs on my dogs for several years, but it was when I started using the Back on Track dog rugs that I noticed the difference. My older dog Lotus has a hip joint problem. He is very sensitive to the cold and becomes stiff easily so Back on Track has been a great help. For example, I have compared various different dog rugs when he has been lying in the car. After using the Back on Track dog rug there is no stiffness whatsoever when he gets out of the car. Other rugs haven’t worked as well as Back on Track to retain heat and prevent stiff hips. I have also noticed an appreciable difference when I compete during the winter months and use Back on Track
compared to the usual dog rugs available. Stiffness that may appear after a rest period completely disappears after diligent use of Back on Track.
But it isn’t just injuries that need to be prevented. Of course I want my dogs to excel as much as possible in each race so that we come tops in contests. In agility every millisecond is all-important and that is why I want my dogs to be in top form so that we play our cards right.

In August 2007 myBorder Collie Luna aged 5 yrs (Lunarlite My Fire) damaged her shoulder whilst competing in an agility competition. Luna jumped a jump and caught the wing, as the next obstacle required a pull through and the wing landed on her shoulder. Luna continued to work and finish the round but once we left the ring it became apparent that she had injured herself.
I did the usual, total rest for a 2-week period and she didn’t improve, I was worried that she could have a broken bone so Luna was x rayed and everything looked normal. Luna was then put on anti-inflammatory pain relief. She wasn’t lame anymore but the problem returned with exercise. We tried several types of pain relief. In November I decided to take her off the anti-inflammatory pain relief, as the situation wasn’t improving I tried other natural remedies and increased her exercise gradually with lead walks. This helped but there was still slight lameness and she couldn’t go running off lead with the other dogs.
After reading about the Back on Track pain relief garments, I gave Luna a gradual three-day build-up wearing a Back on Track dog rug, after which she was ready to sleep in it overnight. The results were amazing. After one month’s use, Luna’s slight lameness had gone, and she was now enjoying off-lead walks and running with the other dogs … something I never thought she would do again. Luna’s agility training has resumed, and I am building her up gradually. At the moment, she is only jumping small heights but I am hopeful of competing with her again in the future.
I was so impressed with Luna’s recovery I decided to try Back on Track myself, as I sometimes suffer from knee pain after and during weekend agility shows. The joint feels twisted after wearing football boots whilst running the dogs, so I thought I would try the Back on Track horse back pad (which I use as a mattress for Luna), and slept with it wrapped around my knees. Again it was amazing, as the pain had gone after only one night’s wear.
After experiencing the benefits for myself, I now understand why Luna is happy to wear her rug and why she has improved so much, so quickly.
The Back on Track dog rug has given Luna her life back.
These products are brilliant, and the results that myself and my dog have experienced have been incredible.

“Because of my work as a specialist in canine rehabilitation at the regional hospital in Strömsholm, Sweden, I meet and help dogs with joint-muscular problems on a daily basis. These are either injuries or chronic diseases of the skeletal system, joints, muscles and nervous system.
In almost all the cases that I treat, regardless whether due to injury or disease, the dogs move in a faulty way due to weakness, pain or dysfunction. By nature, dogs are very good at compensating for, or hiding any weakness from their surroundings. They do this by shifting more stress onto other healthy body parts when in pain. This helps the dogs deal with the pain in the short-term, but has devastating consequences in the long-term. This can lead towards serious strain injuries in the joints, joint capsules, ligaments and muscles. In addition, the dog’s balance and coordination capacity is put out of play, and the dog runs a greater risk of injury in connection with called-for training, competition, exercise and play.
Dogs that present physical changes because they have been affected by a joint or muscular related inflammation often turn out to be motion intolerant, and often suffer stiffness after a period of rest. Or they limp during prolonged exercise sessions.
When a dog suffers an inflammation then the affected body part is actually stressed less, whilst at the same time its range of movement is impeded. This situation soon leads towards a lack of nourishment for both joints and muscles around the affected joint. Thus the already weakened joint becomes further destabilized and worn down, whilst important muscular protection weakens at the same time. This is why it is important to treat these dogs with veterinarian measures, and also through physiotherapy and strength training.
A big part of the physiotherapy staff’s work is achieved through correctly planned training sessions and pain reducing treatment, to stabilize and rebuild optimal functionality for the dogs’ range of movement in order to achieve long term and lasting results.
With the help of Back on Track products and in my direct cooperation to create the ideal products for rehabilitation, I have an increased range of treatment options in my work today: stabilizing and heat insulating leg and joint wraps that contra indicate and reduce pain, joint stiffness and instability. Thus inflammations and the healing process is much better controlled than before and dogs literally get back on track faster with the help of these excellent products.
Back on Track’s special dog rug is made to insulate and retain the body’s own heat, thus providing both joints and musculature with the maximum preconditions to achieve energy-saving sustainability and range of movement. I recommend that all dogs with back pain or stiffness an ywhere else in the body should use one of Back on Track’s dog rugs. “That may really make all the difference”.
Of course Back on Track’s dog rugs are also suitable for the healthy dog as they create “heat according to desire”. The dog rug may be used both when warming up and during cool-down when training or competing, as well as for everyday exercise and as a protection during transportation, for instance in a cold car.
On behalf of all the dogs I have helped with your products, I would like to thank Back on Track for these great products which are also of such high quality. Of course I am mainly a specialist and innovator within the field of canine rehabilitation.
A sure sign that proves how capable dogs are of hiding pain from their surroundings is that around 20% of all dogs in Sweden are sooner or later affected by the joint illness Arthritis. This is a pretty high figure considering that there are around 800-900 000 dogs in Sweden. My advice to all dog owners would be that “prevention is better than cure”, it really is worth it in the long run.

”I am very pleased with Back on Track’s greyhound dog rug.” “We have used Back on Track’s greyhound dog rug for a while, mainly for our male dog.
I was surprised to discover that one may also use the rug indoors for dogs with a summer fleece. The dogs don’t get so wheezy and warm and they sleep like logs!
The dog rug has an excellent fit and is without a doubt the best dog rug we have had for our dogs. I have used the blanket during rehabilitation periods, for recovery and during transportation as a protection against drafts. They make the dogs relaxed and warm.
Since we started using the rug one dog’s performance remained unchanged, whilst the other dog started yielding much better results.
One dog used to have a stiff back during the whole competition season, but now that dog is doing significantly better – even our canine physiotherapist says so. That dog has now beaten the racing record for over 680 m on Hyvinge track in September 2007. The record before that hadn’t been changed for several years.
I am very pleased with Back on Track’s greyhound dog rug. I plan to buy several and recommend them to others too. I hope that others will also benefit from them as me and my dogs have.”

“It started with our dog Culo, who was diagnosed with a chronic back inflammation. We were recommended a Back on Track dog rug and established that it definitely helped Culo´s bad back. The fact is, he got almost a little too well. So well, that he didn’t take it as easy as he should have, and actually got worse because of that. So we put the rug away and it was more or less forgotten.
Last spring my Border Collie Billy stopped working on the obedience contests. The situation felt very stressful because we had just qualified for the Swedish Championships – our first national championships. We saw a veterinarian who gave us a diagnosis of spondylosis/L7-S1. This is a fault in the back that can cause pain during workouts. The start of the championships seemed to just fly away, right under my nose.
Billy got massage, arnica cream, double doses of glucosamine and BioSynov/turmeric. We went on long walks and the Back on Track rug went back on, and Billy just got better and better. The rug was on practically day and night.
The championships came along and it was cold, rainy and windy. Exactly the type of weather one does not want if you have a dog with a bad back! However, the rug stayed on all the time until we went into the ring to qualify. The result was 13th place and a spot in the finals! Achieving this just felt incredible. What a feeling, just one month after we thought we wouldn’t be able to compete at all, and then to finish the first national championships heat with a result like Sweden´s 13th best obedience dog!
Now Billy may always have his rug on at least a half hour before work. Sometimes he gets a bit sensitive in his back and then he is allowed to sleep with it on. Then he is so warm and good and his muscles are pain free the day after. It is no doubt that Back on Track gave us a second chance!”

“Back on Track products – only one word really sums it up: unique. Our sheep dogs work under very tough working conditions and therefore need the best preconditions to keep fit. We use the Back on Track dog rug during warming up and as a precaution but also with those dogs that are a little stiff after a hard workout. Our best bitch Min was unlucky enough to injure her knee last autumn, resulting in an operation on the collateral and meniscii ligaments. Min’s future didn’t look particularly bright, but we have done everything we can to get her back into shape. Besides using the dog rug, we have allowed her to lie on a Back on Track blanket in order to increase circulation and aid healing in the knee she was operated on. Now Min is back on form with complete muscular strength, and she is more sprightly than ever. The dogs use the rugs as soon as they lie down and wait for their turn to work out, and even during walks or when they are lying still in the car and waiting.
All our dogs use Back on Track dog rugs now. Why wait until the damage is done when you can take precautions to avoid them in the first place? A warm and warmed-up dog has a much better chance of giving a top performance. We put our dogs under such pressure to perform, so they should also have the right to expect a lot from us. They feel good in their dog rugs and when the Back on Track “blanket” is lying out then all the dogs want to snuggle up on it.
We even use the leg wrap now and then. As a race, Border Collies make fast accelerations and side movements, and it isn’t completely unusual for them to sprain or overstretch themselves. The leg wrap definitely aids a faster healing process so we can refrain from stuffing the dogs with antiinflammatory medicines.
I myself have continuous pain in the back of my neck, due to an injury. So Back on Track’s products for people were a natural choice for me. I use the neck protector and pillow every day and have felt a significant improvement.
We know it sounds too good to be true, but the only way to really find out is to try out the products, which is what we did. Both we and our dogs are now Back on Track “addicts”. It simply was an obvious choice for us to provide both our dogs and ourselves with the best possible conditions.”

”The best thing about the dog rug is that it really does cover the hips and backside.”
“I have a working dog race, Flatcoated retriever, an English setter. I have always used the dog rug on my dogs as a precautionary measure. I believe that if you look after the muscular-skeletal system and minimize wear and tear, then maybe you can protect your dogs from unnecessary suffering as they age, with stiff joints and painful muscles as a consequence.
Now that I have had the chance to try these Back on Track rugs, it is no understatement to say that I am very surprised at how effective they are. My bitch Troja, who has one hind leg that is a little stiffer and straighter, has now started to stretch it out as much as the other leg. Now you really cannot see the difference anymore. All this after just a few weeks of use. It wasn’t so apparent earlier, but it did bother me.
The best thing about the dog rug is that it really does cover the hips and backside. They are compact and convenient to bring on training sessions and to competitions. The fit is good and is easy to adjust. Another extra are the large reflectors on the sides.
I have just started to try out the leg wraps and wow, what can I say: excellent fit! Even if the dogs are running around or working hard they stay in place where I put them. I wish I had had one such when my dog scraped his spurs on a sharp object once. Instead I had to bandage it up as well as possible, and it didn’t hold for very long.”

“My dog PimPim has been stiff and limping in one foreleg for some time now, with no obvious cause. I preferred not to give him pain killers and was looking for other alternatives. This is when I came upon the leg wrap from Back on Track.
Already on its second day of use I felt that PimPim seemed to be less stiff, and after a week there was no stiffness left whatsoever. Since then he hasn’t been limping either.
In the beginning I was rather skeptical that the leg wrap could remain in place during agility-training or during wild play with other dogs. But after having tested it all I can say is SUPER!
I am very happy with what Back on Track have done for us in a very short space of time and have no idea how we would manage without the leg wrap.
My mixed breed dog, Obelix, acquired Lyme disease and Ehrlichiosis when he was young. This has impaired his circulation so he gets stiffness and pain in his body, which makes it difficult to practice his agility and freestyle training.
I had tested various dog rugs without actually achieving the desired effect. But when I tried Back on Track’s dog rug I noticed a significant difference at once! Obelix was already much more flexible during the warm-up and we were able to do harder exercises much quicker than we had before. This saves energy for both Obelix and me. So all I can say about the dog rugs is that they are tremendous!

Dear folks at Back on Track, I recently ordered a couple of things from your company, and I have to admit that I’m a true believer. I have a young Shetland Sheepdog (Emma), who does agility, that suffered a shoulder injury when she was a puppy. She has been struggling with pain on and off for a few years, and has steadily been getting worse. I’ve been to two different vets, and nobody can recommend anything for her other than oral pain meds, which I’m against using because I believe that they simply mask the pain and do not go to the source of the problem. I’ve been getting steadily more and more desperate to help her as she is slowly deteriorating, so when I read about the dogs on your website, I thought, well, it can’t hurt. I also have a young Trakehner gelding (Oliver) who is just beginning his eventing career. He, too, suffered an injury to his pelvic region, resulting in a lot of scar tissue and limited range of motion. On a whim, I ordered a saddle pad for him as well. So, I got my Back on Track dog blanket (for Emma) and my saddle pad yesterday. I put the dog blanket on Emma for the four hours recommended for the first 2-3 days, and after that four hours was up, Emma was pretty sore. However, the literature says to expect that at first because you are creating heat in an area that might be already inflamed, so something is obviously happening. This morning, Emma had much more freedom in her shoulder and appeared to be more comfortable getting up from a lying down position, which is a huge improvement already. Since I used to be so gullible and willing to try and buy anything that remotely promised me results, I have gone the exact opposite way and now I’m extremely skeptical about anything that promises “miracle results”, but I was getting desperate. Well, after seeing the results on Emma, I was really looking forward to trying the saddle pad on Oliver. I put it on him early and let it warm up his back before I saddled him and then walked down to the arena. Immediately, I noticed a difference in his walk – it was much swingier and freer. When I picked up the trot, he was more willing to come up and out into the bridle, and there was much more action behind. In fact, he was willing to stretch in better balance, his canter felt more supple…in short, there was a noticeable difference. However, that all could be chalked up to the bodywork that he had recently received. We hacked around the property and when he reached around to his side to bite at a fly, I noticed something VERY different. He had FOAM coming out of his mouth – white, frothy foam. There was so much of it that it actually speckled his chest and painted a little on the reins. So, I asked him to come around to the other side to see if the foam was the same on the other side, and what do you know – foam on that side, too, even possibly a little more. I have never, EVER gotten him to relax his jaw/neck enough to create that kind of foam, ever. And it wasn’t a result of nervous mouthing the bit – if anything, his mouth is a little TOO dry. Same bit, same bridle, same saddle – everything the same as last night with the exception of the Back on Track saddle pad. I think that it loosened his back up enough for him to truly come through and soften his poll and put pressure on those salivary glands that cause the foam. Count me in as once your biggest skeptic; now your biggest fan and believer. Thank you, Back on Track. I will definitely be ordering more products from you in the future (No-Bow wraps, a spare white dressage show pad, and the back pad, plus some socks for my husband). My husband is excited about the possibilities for cycling clothing (he’s hoping you have a sleeveless, tight fitting T). Hello, I bought the Back on Track hock boots for my horse last year. He had been having some pain, and wasn't able to perform at his best. After only a few days of wearing the Back on Track hock boots he was moving even better than he had before! My horse never usually lets anything stay on his legs for very long, but he loves the hock boots and has never pulled them off; they must feel great. I use the hock boots on a regular basis and haven't had any problems with his hocks or movement since I bought them. I can't wait to get more Back on Track products for my horse, me, and my dog!
Thank you, Emily D. |
